CONSTANCE MARY McBEAN Peacefully in her sleep, Constance Mary McBean passed away at the Grace Hospital on Wednesday, February 2, 2000 at the age of 95. Her memory will be cherished by her nieces and nephews, Megan, Weida, Richard and Bruce, who were blessed with a presence in their family of a loving aunt throughout their lives. Connie was born in Haywards Heath, Sussex, England and emmigrated to Canada with her family early in the century. The McBean home was on Inkster Blvd. where Connie attended school. Her working years were spent as a supervisor in the X-Ray Department of the Winnipeg General Hospital (Health Sciences Centre) where she made many lifelong friends. Connie was predeceased by her brothers Frank and Victor, and her sisters May and Madge. Memorial and burial services and a reception will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Services, 4477 Main St., at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 7, Major Gordon Jarvis officiating. Pallbearers will be Don Copeland, Dennis Willows, Gerald Lyle, Richard Howes, Greg McBean, and Jim Willows. Donations may be made to the Salvation Army or a charity of your choice. Her concern was for the homeless. Connie leaves a precious legacy of deep faith and love.
