EVELYN (EVA) ANNE COURCHENE (nee BRUYERE) Suddenly on Thursday, February 3, 2000 at the Pine Falls Health Complex, Pine Falls, Manitoba. Evelyn Courchene, aged 56 years, beloved wife of the late Bernard Courchene, of Fort Alexander, Manitoba. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Bernice (Mike), Paul (Brenda), Theresa (Randy), Morris (Daphne), Marilyn, Clifford (Debra), Kelvin, Kurt (Jezebel), Curtis, Helena (Paul), Joseph (Brenda), as well as foster daughters, Joyce and Samantha, numerous grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers, Carlos, Marcel, John; sisters, Victoria, Myrtle and Lena, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Bernard and by her brothers and sisters. Evelyn loved children and her home was always open to them, she loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her family was her pride and joy and she was blessed with a large family for her to enjoy. Wake services will be held at the family residence, North Shore, Fort Alexander, beginning February 4. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 7 at 2:00 p.m. from the St. Alexander Roman Catholic Church, Fort Alexander, with Fr. F. Paradis officiating. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
