MARGARET ALICE PIRIE (RETA) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom and grandmother on February 3, 2000 at Seven Oaks Hospital. Margaret leaves to cherish her memory her son John his wife Dory. Her granddaughter Kim Schade (Gerald) great grandson Ryan, her granddaughter Rhonda Sklar (Jim) She was predeceased by her husband John in 1966. Reta, as she was known by her friends, was born June 25, 1912 in Edinborough, Scotland and came to Canada as a war bride. Reta was employed as a nurses aide at the Central Park Lodge and at Lions Manor until her retirement. After retirement Mom greatly enjoyed going to Sherbrook pool with her many swimming pals. Mom was very devoted to her family and will be sadly missed. A memorial service will be held on Monday February 7, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. The family would like to thank the staff of River East Personal Care Home for their care and compassion.
