BARBARA HOGLUND (nee NEYEDLY) Passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 5, 2000 at the Grace Hospital at the age of 82. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Harold in January 1996. Moms memory will be forever treasured by her children, Bernice (Walter Geres), Melva (Bob Ivy) and Audrey (Ron Ginther deceased) grandchildren, Debbie, Judy, Susan, Janice, David, Michael, Brenda, Pamela and Kimberley; 13 great-grandchildren as well as numerous relatives and friends. Mom was born in Sheho, Sask., on November 1, 1917 and was the only daughter of nine children born to Susan and Jacob Neyedly. Barbara met and married Harold Hoglund and they were together for 60 years. Mom took great pride in her home and loved the time spent playing card games with her children. Mom especially loved her African violets. She had a very special place in her heart for her entire family and everyone knew that they were equally loved. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 9, at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens and a reception will be held in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. Pallbearers will be Ron Maurer, Rick Klassen, Randy Henderson, Garry Neyedly, David Geres and Kevin Frisch. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8. You will always be remembered with the greatest love and you are very sadly missed. We know that you have been reunited with Grandpa, your soul mate and that you are once again complete.
