HOWARD LAWRENCE WILLIAMS February 25, 1920- February 4, 2000 Peacefully on February 4, 2000 with his beloved wife Eleanor at his side, our father passed away at Grace Hospital. He leaves to cherish his life, his children Brenda Hunter, Blain Williams (Pam), Nancy Fluker (Doug). His grandchildren who enlightened him and kept him current, Darrin, Kevin, Meaghen, Tracy, Crystal, Derick, Kelsey and Kyle; two great-grandchildren, Seona and Emileigh. As well as two sisters Connie Kerchin and Joyce Gibson and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his grandson David in 1991. Upon his return from serving his country during the war, he began his career with a partnership with his Dad and brothers at Mid-west Engineering. It was there that he started his creative designs. Dad was a creative person who loved the challenge to invent and design machinery. Every machine was his masterpiece, which he took great pride in building. One of his most beloved projects was building his retirement home at Petersfield. He made sure there was ample room and entertainment for the entire family. Dad always shared a love of music and enjoyed being a member of the CNIB choir. Dad loved life and his family, which we will be eternally grateful for. He taught us the ability to laugh at life and to cherish our silly moments. He will be missed. The family would like to thank Catherine and the special staff from home care. The caring staff on 2 South at Grace Hospital and Dave, thanks for being there. Cremation has taken place and we would like to extend an invitation to friends and relatives to a reception in his honour at the Viscount Gort Hotel, 1670 Portage Avenue at 1:00 p.m., February 8. In lieu of flowers the family requests that contribution made to the CNIB, 1080 Portage Ave. KNYSH FUNERAL CHAPEL 582-0973
