JOE DZIOBA Mr. Joe Dzioba, aged 79 years, beloved husband of the late Mary Dzioba, passed away peacefully at the Beausejour Hospital on Saturday, February 5, 2000. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his five children, sons, Andy (Adele), Larry, Al (Linda), Bill (Dorothy), and daughter Eileen (Jack) his last surviving sibling Mary Golembioski, also many grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Mary and his two brothers Harry and Julian. Joe was born on May 18, 1920. He farmed all of his life, but after moving from the farm, worked at the peat moss plant until his retirement. He was an accomplished musician from an early age and some of his bands included "The Melodiers" and the "Agassiz Four". Joe had a passion for carpentry, having built many cabinets and furniture. He loved gardening and had a special recipe for pickles. He was the neighborhood barber and a regular at Chicken Delight. Due to Joes easygoing nature, he was approachable and made many friends. Rest in peace, Joe. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, February 9 at 7:30 p.m. at the Sobering Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 10, also at the chapel, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Fr. John Sholdak, the celebrant. Interment will follow in the Town of Beausejour cemetery.
