Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY KOZAK (nee PODOLSKY) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, at the Emerson Care Home on Friday, February 4, 2000 Mary Kozak age 84 years. Mary is survived by her children, Ernie (Ruth), Rick (Roxanne) and Nancy (John). She will also be missed by seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three sisters, one brother and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband Paul, two brothers and her parents Harry and Natalka Podolsky. Mary was born in Tolstoi, Manitoba on July 12, 1915 and married Paul Kozak on October 20, 1934. Mom and Dad lived and farmed in the Tolstoi area. In 1974 Paul and Mary retired and lived in Emerson until their respective passings. Pallbearers will be messers; Jonathan Kyrzyk, Barry Robb, Ricky Kozak, Lorne Robb, Mark Treichel and Glen Podolsky. Prayers will be said on Monday, February 7 at 7:00 p.m. at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main Street and Manitoba Avenue, Winnipeg. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 8 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Ukrainian Catholic Church in Tolstoi, Man. with Rev. Fr. Ihor Royik officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Special thanks to out to the staff at the Emerson Care Home for their care and kindness they showed to Mom.
