DOUGLAS ALLAN LUBKIWSKI On Monday, February 7, 2000 at the Carman Memorial Hospital in Carman, Man. after a battle with cancer and with his family at his side, Douglas (Doug) Allan Lubkiwski aged 61 years, beloved husband of Yvonne Lubkiwski of Carman passed away peacefully. Besides his loving wife Yvonne, Doug leaves to mourn two sons, Michael Lubkiwski of Edmonton, Alta. and Robert and his wife Laura Lubkiwski and their daughter Kristen of Airdrie, Alta.; one daughter Denise and her husband Craig Le Bleu of Winnipeg. Doug also leaves to cherish his memory three sisters, Beverly (Roy) Olmstead of Toronto, Alexis (Dennis) Armstrong of Graysville, Man. Debbie (Mike) Woitas of Regina, Sask.; five brothers, Greg Lubkiwski of Miami, Man., Alec (Ruth) Lubkiwski of Carman, Randy (Lou Anne) Lubkiwski of Regina, Terry (Joanne) Lubkiwski of Richardson, Sask., and Barry Lubkiwski of Calgary, as well as numerous nieces, nephews cousins and in-laws. Doug was predeceased by his father George; sister Patricia; brother Ron and sister Shirley. Doug was born on March 25, 1938 in Carman, Man. He married Yvonne Gagnon on May 13, 1961 in Carman where they raised their family and have resided ever since. Prayers will be said from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Carman on Wednesday, February 9 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Carman on Thursday, February 10 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Martin Houston officiating. A private family interment will take place in the Carman Catholic Cemetery, Carman. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, Man., R3C 2B7. Doyles of Carman in care of arrangements.
