WALTER FRANK ZIELINSKI On February 6, 2000 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Walter Zielinski, aged 70 years, of Selkirk, beloved husband of Shirley. Walter was born at St. Andrews, Man., on February 21, 1929. He started working at Modern Dairies in 1956 and was proud to have worked through change of ownerships several times and was still employed there at the time of his death. His greatest pride were his flowers, which will be greatly missed. Thanks to all the neighbours and friends and the nursing staff on 7A West at St. Boniface Hospital. Walter leaves surviving, his loving wife, Shirley; three daughters, Carolyn and Lisa of Winnipeg and Susan of Edmonton, Alta.; two brothers Carl (Adeline) and Gary of Winnipeg; two sisters Rose (Joe) Pollman of Lloydminister and Jean (Al) Scaman of Edmonton, Alta; numerous nieces and nephews and of course the family cat "Chester". He was predeceased by his parents Michael and Magdalina both in 1989. Prayers will be said on Thursday, February 10 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 11 at 11:00 a.m. in the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church, Selkirk with Fr. Boguslaw Wardzinzki officiating. Interment in the Parish Cemetery. His pallbearers will be, Ralph Chwartacki, Henry Kordalchuk, Paul Piasecki, Brian Zielinski, Ron Knight and Peter Mandryk. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
