MARY (MOLLY) MACINTYRE MURISON Molly Murison, age 95 years, died peacefully, on February 8, 2000, at Golden West Centennial Manor. She was predeceased by her husband Bill; brothers, Jim and Don; sisters, Bessie and Isabel. Molly is survived by her sister Frances; her sons, Ross and wife Esther, Gordon and wife Diane, as well as seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Molly was born in Melrose, Scotland on August 19, 1904 and came to Canada with her family in 1909. She was raised on a farm near Neepawa. Molly taught school for nearly 20 years in various parts of Manitoba. Her family was entertained by stories of her students for years after she left teaching. She married her husband Bill in 1942 and moved to a farm near Warren, Mb Molly was very active in the Progressive Conservative Party of Manitoba for many years and made many lifelong friends. She had numerous hobbies which included gardening, knitting and painting. Her family was always her first priority and she enjoyed spending time with her children and their children. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by family and friends. The family wishes to express thanks to all the staff at Golden West Centennial Manor. Your care and compassion was greatly appreciated. A Funeral service will be held at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave. on Friday, February 11 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Bev Ward officiating. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to a charity of your choice.
