HELEN BOERCHERS Helen Boerchers, age 82 years, of McCreary, MB entered into rest February 9, 2000. She was predeceased by her husband Herman in 1992; and by her son Harold in 1988. She is survived by her son John and wife Michelle of Laurier, MB, daughter Ella and husband Len Mallette of Courtney, BC, son Gordon and wife Lee of Laurier, daughter Marlene and husband Howard Penno of Eden, MB and son Gerry and wife Bev of Laurier. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren. Helen was diagnosed with endogenous depression in 1983 and never fully recovered from this condition. Prior to this she had been active in caring for her family and helping at her church. Those who came to know Helen in later years only saw glimpses of what she was before. Her friends and family admired her strong faith and determination in coping with her problem. She will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
