WILBERT EDWARD DUNNING It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our Uncle and Brother on February 7, 2000 at the age of 81 years old. Those left to cherish the many fond memories are brother Cecil (Pauline) sisters-in-law, Frances Dunning and Beatrice Dunning, nieces, nephews and many friends. Wilbert was predeceased by his parents, John and Ellen, and brothers, Roderick, Alexander and Samuel. Born on July 22, 1918 in East St. Paul, Wilbert resided in Edson, Alberta for the most part of his life. He lived the rest of his life with niece Diana. He was a logger and an avid hunter and trapper. Wilbert also had two adopted families, which he fondly mentioned and often visited. Cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial service on Monday, February 14 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at Luxton Avenue. HIS JOURNEYS JUST BEGUN Dont think of him as gone away - His journeys just begun, Life holds so many facets - This earth is only one... Just think of him as resting From the sorrows and the tears In a place of warmth and comfort Where there are no days or years. Think how he must be wishing That we could know today How nothing but our sadness Can really pass away. And think of him as living In the hearts of those he touched...
