JOSEPH LUC LAROCQUE September 22, 1936- February 9, 2000 After a courageous battle with cancer, Luc at the age of 63 years passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital with his family at his side. Luc is survived by his long time companion Ida; special friend Betty; his daughter Judy Polley (John) in BC; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by three sisters, Clara Hyde, Bertha Bouchard of Winnipeg and Virginia Thibodeau (Jim) of St. Johns, NB; one brother Joe and wife Yvette of Quebec; one brother-in-law Gab Sourisseau and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by his parents; one son Marten; sister Marie Sourisseau and three brothers, Louis, Arthur and Rene. Luc worked at the Winnipeg Convention Centre and retired in 1994. Luc loved nature and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Many thanks to the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrooke St. Winnipeg. A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 14 at 1:30 p.m. at the Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald St. in Winnipeg with Father Maurice Comeault officiating.
