Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDARCY BURKE JOSEPH BIBAULT The family wish to announce that Darcy passed away in Edmonton, Alberta on Tuesday, February 8, 2000 at the age of 32 years. We lost a gentle soul today. Sweet and accommodating, Darcys humour and warmth were his greatest attributes and his love for his family and his friends were truly remarkable. A student in Notre Dame de Lourdes, then in Elm Creek where he graduated. He then moved to Kelowna, B.C. where he married Tanys, and also enjoyed life with his stepdaughter Ashlee, whom he loved dearly. Then he moved to Edmonton, Alberta. Darcy made lots of friends and truly did not have an enemy in the world. His was a sudden and unexpected departure, he will be sadly missed by his wife Tanys and stepdaughter Ashlee; his mother Betty and Paul Girardin; brothers, Edward and wife Jackie and their children, Tara and Brandie of Edmonton, Lee of St. Claude and Dorien of Elm Creek. Extended immediate family, Nicole and husband Johnny and their daughter Shyan; Lorraine and friend David, Robert, Daniel, Aunt Ruth and friend Marcel and their children, Tracy and Kasey; Bo and Raymond, Uncle Walter, Marie and family; Uncle Denis and wife Aunt Gerry (Godparents) and their children, David, Christine, Nanette, Albert and Natalie; Uncle Gilles and Aunt Sylvie, Aunt Lucy and her children, Robert, Leslie and Angel. Also survived by Darcys father-in-law Garth and mother-in-law Elaine Gray; brother-in-law Kelly and wife Marcy Gray and their children, Tyler and Nathan; Uncle Danny and Auntie Sylvia Wilyman and their children, Mitchel, Crystal, Jeff and Spencer, and Great Aunt Birdie Dosdall, and numerous relatives and friends, too numerous to mention. Darcy was predeceased by his father Joe in 1995 and also by his uncle Bob Harper. We are sad to see him go, but glad to know that he is in a better place. Darcy we miss you and we will see you again. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, February 12 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Roland Lanoie officiating. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery. Adams Funeral Home of Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba in care of arrangements. Ph. 248-2201 or 1-888-400-2326.

Darcy was an amazing father to me. I was so young but I still think about him almost every day. I hope that wherever he is, he is happy. He will always be remembered and loved. I named my son after him so in a way he can live on. He would have been an awesome grandfather to my little boy. I wish he could be here. - Posted by: Ashlee (Stepdaughter) on: Feb 21, 2012
