FLORENCE NELLIE WINTER Florence Nellie Winter, age 86, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 8, 2000 at the Riverview Health Centre. Predeceased by her husband George; her parents, William and Beatrice Osborne and her sister Dorothy Shepard. Survived and lovingly remembered by her sister Beatrice Kirk (Peter) brother Bill Osborne (Della) nephews, Ken Kirk (Stacey), Ron Osborne (Sandra), Gordon Osborne; stepdaughter Joan Hayes (Bill) step granddaughter Barbara Dunmall (Chris). Florence was a lifelong member of St. Martens In the Fields Anglican Church serving in many capacities, particularly as a dedicated Sunday School teacher in her earlier years. She was also a member of the church choir, and served on the chancel guild and vestry for many years. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 12 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Martin-in-the-Fields Anglican Church, 160 Smithfield Avenue with Rev. Judith Whitmore presiding, assisted by Venerable Bill Oakley. Service will terminate at the church with cremation to follow.
