JOSEPH CAMYRE Peacefully in his sleep after a brief illness, Joseph Jules Camyre passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2000 at the St. Boniface General Hospital, at the age of 82 years. Joe was born and raised in St. Vital. He married his sweetheart, Edythe Lillian Love, July 25, 1942 in Kingston, Ontario, while serving in the armed forces. He was a member of the St. Vital Legion. Joe worked with Air Canada for 25 years, retiring in 1977. Joe enjoyed many memorable years at his Red Rock Lake cottage in the Whiteshell Provincial Park, his trademark Lazy C being a familiar sight to all. Joe was predeceased by his parents, Maurice and Rose Camyre, and brother Max. Joe is survived by his wife Edythe (nee Love) two daughters; Sharon (Ray) Ricard of St. Genevieve, Man., and Lynne (Jack) Zingel of Calgary, Alta.; brother Maurice (Polly) and sister Doris (Al) Harrow; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
