LINA HORTENSE TETRAULT (nee DURUSSEL) At the Villa Youville in Ste. Anne, Manitoba our beloved mother peacefully left us to continue on her journey into eternal rest on February 12, 2000. At her beside, holding her hands were her daughters and daughter-in-law Gail. She left us here to go join her husband Lionel; three children, Marc, Mona and Cecelia. Also her parents Charles and Agnes Durussel; sister Denise and brother Carl. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her six children, Claude (Trudi), Gerald (Sharon), Alain (Alice), Colette, Suzette and Ben (Gilberte (Gail)) 13 grandchildren whom she dearly loved and was so proud of; DAnita, Dion, Mardina, Marika, Mark, Corey, Travis, Justin, Tyler, Regan, Katherine, Jason and Chad and 15 great-grandchildren; her sister Sylvia and many nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Mom was born March 8, 1920 in Sandilands, Manitoba. She met and married Lionel in St. Pierre in 1939 and they went on to share 52 wonderful years together until Dads passing in September 1991. They had resided in Richer for 30 years. Mom was a resident of the Villa Youville since 1992. She was a loving, caring and compassionate mother and friends. She taught us how to love and care about each other unconditionally, to laugh, to cry and show our feelings. She encouraged us to try our wings. Mom liked to reminisce about the old days and had an amazing memory for details. She was a very warm and welcoming lady. She leaves us with many wonderful and loving memories. The family would like to thank the staff at the Villa Youville for their care and support. A special thank you to Pauline and Dr. Chattel. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 15, at 1:30 p.m. at Loewen Funeral Chapel in Steinbach. Viewing will be prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Richer Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be all her grandsons. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Huntingtons Society. Loewen Funeral Chapel of Steinbach in care of arrangements. 1-204-326-1351.
