WILLIAM WHYTE BOATH It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, William Whyte Boath (Bill) on February 10, 2000. Quietly, at Beacon Hill Lodge, in his wifes arms, and with his family by his side, Bill, born May 7, 1929, passed away after a long and lengthy illness. Bill was predeceased by his father (William), mother (Eunice) and brother David, in the Korean War. He will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Anne; his loving sister Sally (Charles) his children, Kenneth, Kevin (Grace), Joanne, Linda (William), Arthur, Cory, Dustin and Karen; 15 grandchildren and his mother-in-law Margaret Hawley. Bill worked at the TTC, Toronto for many years. He enjoyed life - his greatest love was that of his family and he will be most remembered for keeping family unity. Prayers will be said on Monday, February 14, at 7:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. Mass of Christian Burial to follow on Tuesday, February 15, at 10:00 a.m. at the Blessed Sacrament Church, 425 Rosseau Ave. E., with Father Lucien Roy officiating. Burial in Transcona Cemetery. Special thanks to Aunt Muriel, for the strength and support she provided for all of us, and also to Hazel, Betty and the staff of the 6th Floor, Beacon Hill Lodge, as well as Leah Young, for her care and compassion for Bill during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, if friends so wish, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
