Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMADELINE ELAINE GRISDALE Suddenly, on Friday, February 11, 2000, Madeline passed away at the Pine Falls Health Complex. Madeline was predeceased by her granddaughters, Tammy Grisdale and Cindy MacKenzie and great-grandson Randy Grisdale. She leaves to mourn her seven children, Gordon Grisdale, Karen MacKenzie, Anne and Mike Simmons, Ericka Grisdale, Willi and Susan Grisdale, John and Gladys Grisdale, Russell Grisdale, 26 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Madeline was a longtime resident at the George Guimond Center in Fort Alexander. She was born on November 13, 1936 at Saint Boniface Hospital. She had a strong love of nature and took care of every stray animal. Mom enjoyed coming to the city to visit her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She also had many good friends in Fort Alexander. Madeline was a very strong person through her many trials in life. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the nurses at the center for taking care of her. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 15 (tonight), between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Cremation will follow. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 16 at 11:30 a.m. also at Cropo Chapel. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the George Guimond Center, Fort Alexander, Manitoba, R0E 0P0. Cropo Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements, 586-8044.
