CLAUDE LACASSE 1940 - 2000 Peacefully on Monday, February 14, 2000, at the St. Boniface Hospital, surrounded by his family, Claude passed away at the age of 59 years. Claude is survived by his mother Ida; his brothers and sisters, Claudette, his twin sister, (John) Dumas, Edmond (Simone), Madeleine Beaulieu (Ted), Denis (Anna), Robert (Judy), Suzanne and Marcelle (friend Alex) nephews and nieces, Charmaine (Pierre) Bohemier, Brigitte (Reg) LeClaire, Jason, Christopher, Stephanie, Misty and Danielle (Gary) Ventura; great-nephews and niece, Skylar, Dominic and Chanelle Bohemier. Claude was predeceased by his father Aurele and by his nephew Patrick. Cremation has taken place. A memorial mass for Claude will be celebrated at the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 778 Archibald St., on Thursday, February 17 at 11:00 a.m. Fr. Ron Leger will celebrate the mass. Interment of Claudes cremated remains will take place in Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Hwy. No. 1 East, following the mass. The family would like to express sincere thanks for the love and care extended to Claude by the personnel of the St. Boniface Hospital Oncology Unit and the staff of 5B Ward. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so may make a donation in Claudes memory to the Manitoba Cancer Treatment and Research Foundation, 100 Olivia St., Winnipeg, MB, R3E 9Z9.
