DELLA WINDSOR Della Windsor, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed way peacefully at the Grace General Hospital at the age of 79. Born to Francis and John Willey in Somerset England on April 29, 1920, the youngest of ten children. She was stationed in Bournemouth as a nursing aid in the R.A.F.; there she met her loving husband Ken Windsor who too was serving for his Country and King as a fighter pilot for the Royal Canadian Air Force. She leaves to cherish her memories her forever loving husband of fifty-seven years, Ken and five children, David, Kenneth (Carolyn), Craig (Ava), Dale and Kimberley (Fred). As well, her brother John who resides in Somerset, England. There are eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Dellas heart was filled with love and generosity to all those she knew. She cared deeply for the many winged visitors (whom she called angels from above) and small creatures who frequented her beautifully flowered yard. Her life was her family, such a small person giving so much of herself to make happiness for others. Our family deeply mourns the loss, yet we have celebration of life of this beautiful person who bestowed upon us her total devotion, love and kindness. Our tears are both sad and happy on this day. God loves you and so do we. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 18 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Should friends so desire memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army or the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301 - 352 Donald St., R3B 2H8. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
