OLE ISKOU SORENSEN With deepest sorrow our family wishes to announce the passing of Ole Sorensen, on Sunday, February 13, 2000, after a long battle with cancer. Ole was born in Copenhagen, Denmark on April 21, 1924. He married his wife Karen in 1948, and came to Canada in 1951 and made Winnipeg their home. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Karen; son Steen; daughter Susan; son Jan; son-in-law Rick Batting; and four grandchildren, Michael, Nicole, Kristopher and Sarah; as well as family members in Denmark. Ole was employed with the Winnipeg Transit System for 25 years before his retirement in 1984. He will be cremated and a Service of Remembrance will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., on Friday, February 18 at 3:00 p.m. A sincere thank you to Dr. S.
