Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROLANDO ESQUEJO (1949 - 2000) Peacefully, on Wednesday, February 16, 2000 at the Palliative Care of St. Boniface Hospital, age 50, cherished husband of Gloria and loving father of Roland Paul and Kathleen; son of the late Ambrosio and the late Evangelina; beloved brother of Romeo (Myrna), Linda (Fred Dulay), Delma (Fred Mendoza), Ruben, Cioning (Cino Flores) and Emma (Lito de Vera) son-in-law of Maria and the late Rodrigo Parong; brother-in-law of Lily Vista, Vic Parong, Dalisay (Fred Medrano), Ela Vinluan, Ruth Parong, Noemi Yarcia and Ray Parong; a caring uncle and friend. He was born in Binalonan, Pangasinan, Philippines. Graduated from Manuel L. Quezon University in Manila, Philippines with Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Dedicated worker as Planning Engineer with Saudi Telecom in Saudi Arabia. Immigrated to Winnipeg, Canada in 1991 with his family. He was employed at Park Manor Personal Care Home then at Boeing Technology, Canada. He had numerous hobbies that include fishing, fishing and fishing. He took pleasure in singing songs to praise the Lord and looked forward to weekly Bible studies and fellowship. He truly inspired his family and friends, sharing his faith in the Lord Jesus in whose presence he now rejoices. The family expresses their sincere gratitude to Dr. Timothy Chan, the doctors and nurses at Health Sciences Centre and St. Boniface Hospital especially to the staff of the Palliative Care Unit; to Pastor Fred Sebastian and the congregation of the Winnipeg Filipino Alliance Church; to the staff of Indian Life Ministries; to the numerous friends for their continuous prayers and support. An evening service will take place in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., on Friday, February 18, at 7:00 p.m. with viewing from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, February 19, at 3:00 p.m. also in the chapel. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Eden Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Indian Life Ministries, P.O. Box 3765 RPO Redwood Centre, Winnipeg, MB, R2W 3R6.
