HANKE July 8, 1912 - February 12, 2000 With sadness the family announces the passing of our much loved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Bea; children, Dianne (Jim), Karen (Paul) and Bruce; grandchildren, Scott (Carol), Greg (Heather), Jill, Tim and great-grandchildren, Bradley and Kinsey. Born in Waldersee, Man. Dad was one of sixteen children. He is survived by sisters, Lena, Elsie, Freda, Truda, Anne and Edna. Dad always a free spirit was involved in many endeavours; business, mining, commercial fishing and sales. He will be remembered for his passion and talent for baseball and his love and devotion to his family. Cremation has taken place. Service will be held Saturday, February 19 at 2:00 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, 350 Gilmore Ave. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Peace Lutheran Memorial Fund.
