FRANCES EMILY WARD (nee WAZNEY) Peacefully on February 15, 2000, Frances Ward, aged 83, passed away at the Victoria Hospital. She is survived by her sons, Donald (Lorraine) and Patrick (Nancy) daughter Janice (Rosario) Nicchitta; grandchildren, Stephen, Colleen, Derek (Brenda), Alison, Lindsey, Nadia, David and Daniel; brothers and sisters, Mary (Jim), Helen, Pauline, Joan, Charlie, Casmer (Dorothy), Joe (Valerie), and Frank; sisters-in-law, Ollie and Darleen Wazney and Doreen Ward; also many nieces, nephews and other family members. Frances was predeceased by her husband George; brothers, Stanley and Walter; sisters-in-law, Peggy Wazney and Maggie Sylvester; brothers-in-law, Bill, Paul and Norman Ward. And Anton Tone. Frances was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who was always there for those who needed her help. Her happiest times were spent gardening, cooking and being with her family. Viewing and prayers will be held on Saturday, February 19 between 9:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. at St. Michaels Roman Catholic Church in Cooks Creek, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Fr. Sebastian Gacki presiding. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Should friends so desire, donations in Francess memory may be made to a charity of ones choice.
