Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANGUS MCDONALD November 19 - 1917 - February 11, 2000 Beloved husband of Bette McDonald (nee Burns), passed away in Calgary, Alberta. Angus was born in Dunrea, Manitoba and grew up in Ninette and Brandon. He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during the Second World War, later settling in Brandon, Manitoba where he sold Insurance and Real Estate and managed the Brandon United Credit Union. Angus was predeceased by his six brothers; two sisters and by his granddaughter, Christina. In 1988 Bette and Angus retired to Calgary, to be closer to their grandchildren. Angus will be remembered for his generosity and devotion to family by all who knew him. He will be sadly missed by his children, Patty (Andy) Simmons of Winnipeg, Cam (Judy) McDonald of Edmonton, Susan (Peter) Shabada of Calgary, and Janis (Brad) Kerslake of Calgary, and cherished grandchildren, Tony (Jackie), Jenny, Laura, Jill, Nicole, Paul, Ian, Rachel, Matt, Libby and his great-grandson Keenan. He is survived by one sister, Till (George) and son Donald MacDonald of Winnipeg and by other numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held.
