Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEVELYN MAYBELLE AMOS Peacefully on February 18, 2000 Evelyn Maybelle Amos passed away at Golden Links Lodge after a brief illness. Evelyn was born May 28, 1913, in Moosomin, Saskatchewan. Over the years, she lived in Moosomin, England, and Winnipeg. She married Bill Amos in 1933 and together they managed the Notre Dame Greenhouses for many years. She is survived by her daughter Marilyn (Peter) Windeatt and son Brent (Ruth) Amos; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, William Julius, son William Paul, sister Frances Beard and brother Joseph. A special thank you to the nursing staff at Golden Links for their kindness and wonderful care to Mom during her stay. Many thanks to Edith Webb, Moms visitor and friend, for her tender care. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 22 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m., 4000 Portage Avenue. Friends are invited to pay their respects prior to the service. The service will terminate in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial donations in Evelyns name may be made to the charity of ones choice.
