JOHN THORSTEINSON Suddenly, on Thursday, February 17, 2000, at the Selkirk and District General Hospital, John Thorsteinson, aged 75 years of Selkirk. John was predeceased by his parents, Ethel and Steini; his brother Leonard; brothers-in-law, Sammy Oddleifson and Edwin Sigvaldason. He is survived by his daughters, Corrine (Dan) Calder and Heather (Doug) Scramstad; his grandchildren, Doug (Paula), Devin (Shannon), Fawn (Chad) and Jolene (Tyler) great-grandchildren, Hayley and Emily; sisters, Norma, Hazel and Maria (Don) Keller; sister-in-law Inga; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In accordance to Johns wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place in the spring. The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to Dads very good friend Stuart Linklater for all the care and compassion shown to him throughout the years.
