GRANT MCDONALD REID On February 18, 2000, with his family by his side, Grant passed away peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre, at the age of 80 years. Grant is survived by his beloved wife and soulmate Agnes; son Gary (Sharon) daughters, Darlene, Donna (Roger), Barbara; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Russell (Nello) sister Eileen Thorvaldson; sister-in-law Betty; as well as numerous other family members. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother Ken. Grant grew up in Arborg, Man. He served overseas during the Second World War. He worked for Manitoba Hydro and Parkside Ford until his retirement. Grant was an avid golfer, curler and lover of life. In accordance with Grants wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Grants memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8.
