Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLOWELL SIMPSON WALLACE Lowell Simpson Wallace, of Winnipeg and latterly of Victoria, died peacefully on February 17, 2000. He was a Lifetime Mason of Northern Light Lodge, a Lifetime Kiwanian and very active in the United Church. Kiwanis Place in Winnipeg remains as a legacy of his vision. He founded the Canadian Rental Association. "Oh how he loved to sing, play bridge and golf in his tartan shorts at St. Charles." Predeceased by his dear wife Marian Lucille Ross after 50 years of marriage and his two sisters, Ethelyn Wallace and Helen McSherry. He is survived by his two daughters, Carol Ann and her husband Edward Brown and Marian Rosalind; five grandchildren, Beryl, Mary, Douglas, Charles and wife Victoria and Stewart; two great-grandsons, Zachary and Alexander. He was dearly loved and our lives are better for knowing him. We miss you Lowell. Memorial service was held at Sands Funeral Chapel, 1803 Quadra St., Victoria, B.C., on Saturday, February 19 at 2:00 p.m. Reverend R. Crossley officiating.
