Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT FREDERIC DYNE January 11, 1928 - February 17, 2000 Surrounded by his family, our beloved husband, father and grandfather peacefully passed away. Predeceased by parents Frances and ATL Dyne. He leaves to mourn his wife Margaret of Stonewall; his son Allan of Winnipeg; daughter Maureen (Earl) Slimmon; grandchildren, Cameron, Meaghan and Kyle of Dauphin, Man.; sister Charlotte Murrell; nephew David Murrell and niece Linda Weins. Bob grew up in Winnipeg and graduated with Honors from the University of Manitoba. His career in education spanned 33 years, from a one room school in Morranville, to Dauphin, Dryden, Thompson, Lac Du Bonnet, and Beausejour Collegiates. Bob played a key role in establishing R.D. Parker Collegiate in Thompson and Edward Schreyer High in Beausejour. As a dedicated educator, he loved to teach history and felt a great responsibility for his students and teachers. Bob was a member of the Lions Club in Dauphin, Beausejour and Stonewall, and a charter member in Lac Du Bonnet. As avid travelers, Bob and Margaret, members of the Sunny Sams Camping Club, enjoyed the comradeship and "Happy Hour" with its members. Their cottage near Lac Du Bonnet, and winters spent in Texas, provided a lifetime of memories. Bobs activities were curtailed by kidney failure within the last few years. The family would like to thank all those involved in his care for their compassion. Memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 22, at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St. A summer interment by the river in the RM of Lac du Bonnet will follow. If friends so desire a donation in Bobs memory may be made to the Childrens Wish Foundation. BARDAL FUNERAL HOME 843 Sherbrook St. 774-7474
