JOHN KUSYK (1919 - 2000) John passed away peacefully on Friday, February 18th, 2000, after a lengthy illness. He was predeceased by his parents; three sisters; two brothers; infant daughter Carolyne; grandson Cory and nephews Clifford and Ray. John will be sadly missed by his loving wife Isabel; daughter Darlene; four sons, John Jr., Robert, Fred, Michael and wife Margaret; three granddaughters, Crystal, Shaelyn and Breeann; grandsons, John Rene and Zachery and great-grandson Michael in B.C. John served in the war with the First Division of the P.P.C.L.I., in England, Sicily and Italy. During the war he was wounded and was sent back to Canada. He was employed by the C.N.R. as a carman and he retired in 1980. John loved gardening, playing cards and teaching cribbage. He was clever with his hands when it came to carpentry. He will be sadly missed by his family. Cremation had taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, February 23, at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Reception to follow in the Cropo Rose Room. Dont think of him as gone away His journeys just begun. Life holds so many facets This earth is only one.
