LORETTA SHINE Loretta passed away suddenly at her residence on February 17, 2000. She was predeceased by her parents Lester and Chloie Shine, brother Russell and grand-nephew Timothy. Loretta will be remembered with love by her sister Verna Carroll, and brother-in-law Mervin Jackson. She leaves nephews, Larry Shine, and Terrance, Tom and Brian Carroll and nieces, Lynne Carroll and Wendy Lebreton. Also left to cherish her memory are grand-nephews, Ryan and Georges; grand-niece Sherri; sister-in-law Audrey and lifelong friend Teresa Stefansson. Lorettas birth, in Woodland, Washington, U.S.A., enabled her to work in both Canada and the United States in later years. She spent her youth in Fort Francis, Ont. She was employed as a legal secretary for many years and retired from Manitoba Highways and Transportation in 1987. Although independent by nature, Loretta enjoyed her family. She will be fondly remembered for her sense of fun and particularly enjoyed vacations at the beach and travelling. Her sense of adventure and humour will be especially missed on family occasions. She was a loyal and supportive sister, aunt and friend, and was a member of St. Ignatius Church. In accordance with Lorettas wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. Donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, Manitoba. "But since it falls unto my lot That I should rise and you should not I will gently rise and Ill softly call, Goodnight, and joy be with you all." THOMSON FUNERAL CHAPELS 783-7211
