Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM GEORGE DAWSON On February 18, 2000, William George Dawson passed away in the Victoria General Hospital at the age of 83. He was predeceased by his wife Grace in 1992 and survived by his daughter Dorothy Dawson (William Bowthorpe) sons, James Dawson (Sally) and Ronald Dawson; granddaughters, Meaghan and Lindsay; brothers, John A. Dawson and Eric Dawson; and three sisters, Mary, Isa and Evelyn. Bill was born in Castledawson, Northern Ireland in 1916. He served in the 12th Manitoba Dragoons and was a member of the Fort Rouge Legion #97 and Capitol Masonic Lodge #136. Cremation has taken place and there will be a funeral service held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23, in St. Alban Anglican Church, 486 Rathgar Ave., with the Rev. Glenda Drew officiating.
