Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryABRAHAM (ABE) DOERKSEN It is with great sorrow that our family announces the passing of a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He went home peacefully to be with the Lord on Monday, February 21, 2000 at the St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 92. Besides his loving wife Anne of over 60 years, he leaves to cherish his memory, daughters, Lynn Willms (Al) of B.C., Verna Dalke and Judy Lipinsky (Walter) of Winnipeg; grandchildren, Carrie Samplonius (Gord) of B.C., Laurie Payne (Greg) of Stonewall, Tom Dalke, and Shawna Jamieson (Jamie) of Winnipeg. His youngest grandchildren who will deeply feel his loss are Mark and Katryna Lipinsky. In addition, he was blessed with six great-grandchildren. He will also be missed by his four surviving sisters, Mary Champagne, Jean Neufeld, Susan Lumley (Lawrence), Betty Wiebe; and two brothers, George (Anne) and Dave (B.C.). Grandpa was born on August 23, 1907 in Niverville, Man. It was here that he married Anne (Loeppky) in 1938. They raised their three daughters in Stonewall and Warren and eventually settled in Winnipeg. Grandpa was a dedicated and hard worker displayed in the variety of jobs held during his lifetime. Ultimately, it was his family that was his first priority. We will miss his compassionate and caring spirit. He was an inspiration to us all because of his unconditional love for his family and his commitment to the Lord. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations to his memory may be made to Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation. Viewing will be held at Klassens Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson, on Thursday, February 24 at 8:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Niverville M.B. Church in Niverville, on Friday, February 25 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Arno Fast of the Salem M.B. Church will be officiating. Burial to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens in Winnipeg. Until we meet again. "My heart responds, Lord, I am coming". Psalm 27:8 KLASSEN FUNERAL CHAPEL 338-0331
