PAUL KASPRICK Peacefully on Tuesday, February 22, 2000, surrounded by his loving family, Paul Kasprick passed away at the Seven Oaks General Hospital. Paul was born January 24, 1920 in Eden, MB. He joined the army in 1940, and served overseas in the PPCLI for five years. He had resided in Winnipeg since returning from the war. Paul was a lifetime member of St. Peters Church and the St. Josephs Sick Mens Benefit Club. He worked for Motor Coach Industries for 39 years. Upon his retirement in 1985, he enjoyed travelling, playing cards and spending time with his family. Woodworking was his greatest hobby. A frequent phrase heard in our family was "Give it to Dad/Grandpa, hell fix it". He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Agnes of 54 years; his five children, Diane (Herb) Kowalke, Loraine (Berny) Audette, Pat (Wolfe) Busam, Peter (Sandy) Kasprick and Bonnie McClintock (friend Richard) grandchildren, Kurtis, Krystin and Eric Kowalke, Jason and Cory (Isabelle) Semenek, Michael and Jarrell Busam, Liza and Meghan McClintock, Perry, Kyle and Ryan Kasprick, and Brad Kazuk; his brothers, Vern, Raymond and Benny; sisters, Stella, Della and Nellie; and numerous nieces and nephews. His parents, John and Verna; and brothers, Joe and John predeceased him. Prayers will be held on Thursday, February 24 at 6:45 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 25 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peters Church, 748 Keewatin St. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Pauls grandchildren will be his pallbearers. Msgr. M. Comeault, P.H.V.F. will officiate. The family would like to thank Dr. Borys and the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital, 3rd Floor U11 for their special care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9. Cropo Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements, 586-8044.
