Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAMALIA ROTHENBERGER (nee PROPP) Peacefully, on Saturday, February 19, 2000 at Seven Oaks Hospital, Amalia Rothenberger, beloved wife of the late Conrad Rothenberger (1970) and loving mother of (Rev.) Victor (Martha), John (Edna) and Albert (Lillian). She leaves to mourn her passing besides her three sons and their wives, seven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Rose Zimmerman of Racine, Wisconsin and one brother (Rev.) Victor Propp of Kelowna, B.C. and many nieces and nephews. Our mother was predeceased by her husband, parents, three sisters and four brothers. She was also predeceased by her granddaughter Sharon Thomson. Amalia emigrated from Russia in 1902, along with her parents to homestead in Rhein, Sask. In 1918 she was married to Conrad Rothenberger and in 1925 the family moved to Winnipeg where she resided until her death. Mother was a lifelong member and staunch supporter of Christ Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, if friends wish, memorials may be sent to Lutheran Home, 1081 Andrews, R2V 3G5 or Christ Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 815 Inkster Blvd., R2X 1N3. A graveside service, conducted by Pastor D. Engel will take place Thursday, February 24 at 2:00 p.m. at Brookside Cemetery followed by a memorial service at Christ Lutheran Church, Inkster and Sinclair at 3:30 p.m. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
