Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHAROLD (HARRY) PARISIAN December 24, 1945 - February 19, 2000 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Harold Parisian after a short courageous battle with cancer. He passed away peacefully at Concordia Hospital surrounded by his loved ones. Harold was predeceased by his mother Jemima (nee Michaud) in 1957 and grandson Brandon in 1997. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving daughter Jodeen and granddaughter Autumn-Marie; his soulmate Pauline Yanick and her two daughters to whom he was like a father to, Marci and Maureen, and also Melinda Yanick to whom he was a grandfather to. He also leaves sisters, Yvonne Henderson (Saul Cook), Mary Parisian, Rose (Karl) Schunemann and Doris (Brian) Beavis and also numerous family members and friends. Harold was born and raised in Selkirk and spent all of his life there except for a few years in Winnipeg. Harold was a dedicated employee of the Manitoba Rolling Mills right up until the end. He spent almost 30 years of his life working there as an Industrial Mechanic. Working at the Mill was a big part of his life and he was proud to have worked there. Harold lived a quiet and simple life. He was a caring, loving and giving man who was always concerned about others first and himself last. The family wishes to thank Dr. Harris and the staff at Concordia Hospital for their wonderful care. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 24, at 3:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. Cremation will follow. Thank you for sharing our world... for warming it with your thoughtfulness and brightening it with your laughter... For always listening with patience and somehow understanding what we couldnt find words to say... For reaching out so often with a tender look or smile and gently touching our hearts... For being a part of our happiest moments and bringing the sun to our cloudiest of days... For encouraging our highest hopes and praising even our smallest successes... For giving so much of yourself and helping us discover so much about ourselves... For being the caring person who made our world so beautiful... FOR ALL OF THIS WE THANK YOU. Gilbarts Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
