MARIA LUISA SARIA (nee DECENA) In loving memory of Lulu who passed away on February 17, 2000 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She will always be remembered for her kind and gentle spirit. She is survived by her husband Jun; her daughter Jill; her son Wendell; her parents, Jesus and Juaning; her brothers, Ping (Hermie), Ben (Mameng), and Toti (Rexy) Decena; and her sisters, Mercy (Frank) Saria and Edith (Roger) Guevarra and their families; her in-laws, Nanay Mureng, Trining (Rudy), Manding (Cely), Fred (Weny), Pepe (Nith), Juliette (Benny), Helen (Lito), Evie (Edwin), Mely, Edgar (Melinda) and their families. Her family would like to thank all her relatives, friends and co-workers for their help, love, support and prayers. Also to all the hospital staff involved with her care at Health Sciences Centre, VON Homecare and Concordia Hospital. Lamay will be held on Thursday, February 24 from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and on Friday, February 25 from 7:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (across from the Royal Canadian Mint). Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 26, also in the Chapel, with Pastor Fred Sebastian officiating. Interment to follow in the Christ Redeemer Garden of Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Lawn Reception Centre.
