CORNELIUS (CASEY) HOOGERVORST After a courageous battle with cancer, Cornelius Hoogervorst, age 79 years, passed away at the Riverview Health Centre on Tuesday, February 22, 2000. Dad is survived by his loving children, Enaka (Mike), Cornell (Cindy), Phyllis (Steve), Phillip (Erma), Pat (Martin), Reg (Mary), Nancy (Rick), Ben (Roberta), Eunice (Doug) 18 grandchildren, as well as numerous relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his loving wife Maria; his parents, one brother and one sister. In accordance with Dads wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a Memorial Mass on Saturday, February 26 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church, 3597 Main Street, Middlechurch, Man. with Msgr. Louis McCloskey, P.H. officiating. Interment of the cremains will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. A memorial service will also be held in Kelowna, B.C. by his daughters, Phyllis and Pat. We wish to thank the staff at Riverview Health Centre, Unit 3 east for their compassion and care they had provided for Dad in his time of need. Flowers are gratefully declined.
