Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH MARY BRIDGES (nee BUND) Elizabeth Mary Bridges (nee Bund) of Brandon, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 23, 2000. She was born on September 1, 1915 in the Chesley District, Man. Mom enjoyed her friends and their teas and card games. She loved crafts, especially her cross-stitch for which she was well known. Mom was quick witted and her sense of humour helped to ease us through some difficult times. Being a gentle person, she had a fascination with deer, as was evident by her collection of many deer of different kinds displayed in her home. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Raymond (Vicki) and Arthur (Terri) her daughters, June (Jack), Barbara (Brad) and Debra; as well as nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren whom she dearly loved. Also left to mourn is her sister-in-law Beatrice Bund. Mom was predeceased by her two sisters and one brother. Mom was a kind and caring person who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was lovingly referred to by her family as "the little old doll". A time of visitation and reception will be held at the Brockie Donovan Funeral Home, Brandon, on Saturday, February 26, between the hours of 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Cremation will follow. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in memory of Elizabeth may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 203-42 McTavish Ave. East, Brandon, R7A 2B2. Arrangements are in care of Brockie Donovan, Brandon, 1-800-897-5694. "A new star is shining in Heaven"
