RUSSELL JOHN CORRIGAL December 26, 1926 - February 23, 2000 Age 73 years. It is with deep sorrow our family announces the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Russ passed away peacefully after a brief illness with his family at his side at Health Sciences Centre. Predeceased by his mother Ester, father Andy, father-in-law Lindsay; his brothers, Ed and Andy; sister Bonny; and his daughter Teresa in January 2000. Russ will be forever loved and missed by his wife Irene of 50 years; sons, Garry (Sue), Rocky (Candy) daughter Cindy; son-in-law Aaron; grandchildren, Jordan, Trevor, Paige, Tracey, Kelvin, Ryan, Shelley, Paul, Colin; great-grandchildren, Ricki, Sammi, Billi, Adrian, Nikki; mother-in-law Helen and many nieces and nephews. Russ was born and raised in Winnipeg and worked as a self employed trucker and he also had the Auto Trader run for many years. Russ loved his time he spent at the lake visiting with his many friends. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff of GH4 for all of the warm and special attention given to Russ during his illness. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service for Russ will be held at Shaughnessy United Church, Railway St. and Magnus Ave. on February 28 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Cliff McMillan will officiate. Rest in peace, Babe.
