JOAN MADELINE NEAL (nee McGALL) After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Joan passed away February 21, 2000. Joan was predeceased by her father William and husband Roy. She leaves to mourn, her mother Helen; son Guy (Debbie) her dear friend Sammy; grandson Shane (Pam) great-grandchildren; close friends, Gordon, Janice and family, and numerous relatives and friends. Joan worked numerous years for Eatons and Perths before retiring. Her love of animals and birds was evident everyday and they will sadly miss her. The family wishes to thank all doctors, nurses and orderlies of St. Boniface Hospital, 5th Floor Medicine and Palliative Care Unit. In keeping with Moms wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, Man., R2L 1X3.
