WILLIAM PATRICK WELWOOD It is with great sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of our beloved William on February 24, 2000. William will be sadly missed by his loving wife Jackie and daughter Nicole; father Patrick Welwood; step-mother Beverley Welwood; brothers and sisters, Cindy (Terry) Mulvey, Rob Harvich, Terrapin Harvich, Karen Harvich (Sandy Barham) Pamela Harvich, Michael Welwood, Kristy Welwood; mother-in-law Judy Hossack; sister-in-law Diana Pidwerbesky (Rob) brother-in-law Kris Hossack. William also leaves numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and good friends to mourn his death. William was predeceased by his mother Geraldine Welwood; grandparents Bill (Allan) and Marguerite Welwood; grandparents Bill and Chris Kidd. Pallbearers will be Russell Thiessen, Robert Perreault, Michael Welwood, Kris Hossack, Robert Harvich, and Don Mortimore. William was a proud and very active partner in KP Courier Services. He took pride in everything he did. In his spare time he loved tree spading, puttering in the yard , and spending time with his daughter. He was an excellent husband, father, son, brother and friend. He will be greatly missed by all. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 4 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Interment will take place in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Winnipeg Chapter, Box 21008, 33-3900 Grant Ave., R3R 3R2 in memory of Kyla Perreault.
