DONALD JEFFREY It is with deep sorrow and regret that we announce the sudden passing of Donald William Jeffrey on February 27, 2000 at the age of 61 years. Don will be lovingly remembered by his wife Betty; sons, Todd (Pam) and Paul (Colleen) grandsons, Robert and Christopher; brother Robert (Toronto) and numerous family and friends. Don was predeceased by his mother, father and brother Martin. Don was employed by CP Rail for 25 years until his retirement February 1, 1999. Don was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion #7 (Transcona), as well as Winnipeg Irish Association, and the Masonic Lodge #123. Don was a very loving husband, caring person, always concerned and giving to others. Don enjoyed cooking, making wine, traveling, playing darts and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He also enjoyed his Saturday afternoons spending time with friends and helping at the Legion meat draw. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 2 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Interment Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
