GERTRUDE JEAN LAST (nee BODIE) On Monday, February 28, 2000 at the Carman Memorial Hospital in Carman, Jean Last, aged 80 years, beloved wife of the late Stan Last of Carman. Jean leaves to cherish her memory one son Bob (Jody) Last and their children, Melissa and Jordan, of Carman and one daughter Edith (Wayne) Smith and their children, Neil, Rachel and Graham of Winnipeg, Man. Jean is also survived by one brother Jack (Kay) Bodie of Kelowna, B.C. and one sister Mae Bodie of Carman, Man. She was predeceased by one sister Joan. A public graveside funeral service will be held from the Greenwood Cemetery on Wednesday, March 1 at 2:00 p.m. with Hugh Gannon officiating. A time of fellowship will follow at the Church of Christ, Carman. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 2B7.
