JOSEPH (JOZEF) ANDRYSIAK Peacefully, on February 27, 2000, Joseph Andrysiak went to Heaven, with his family by his side. Joseph was born in Poland, March 20, 1920 and came to Canada in 1949. He was employed by Carlson Decorating for 35 years until his retirement. He was a faithful member of Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, and a member of the Holy Ghost Fraternal Aid Society. He was a "jack of all trades" and enjoyed tinkering with cars. Joseph will be deeply missed and ever remembered by his loving wife Lucy; two sons, Richard (Vera), George (Kimberley) seven grandchildren, Corey, Kyle, Ashleigh, Courtney, Sabrina, Sidney and Eric; daughter-in-law Barbara of Orchard Park, New York; brother Mirek and sister Zofia and families of Poland, sister Stella Plachynski of North Carolina and her family. Joseph was predeceased by his parents; his son Stash; and one brother. Special thanks to the sisters, doctors, nurses and attendants at the Holy Family Nursing Home for all their care, kindness and love shown to Joseph and his family. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, Unit 10-12 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 4G2. Viewing for family and friends will be on Wednesday morning, March 1, between 9:30 - 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. with an Oblate Father officiating.
