LOUIS HEATH On the morning of February 27, 2000, Louis passed on to join his beloved mother, Marie Therese Smith; sister Alice Peloquin and brother William Heath. Louis was born on January 29, 1911 in England. Louis came to Canada with his parents to homestead in Deerhorn, Man. He later moved to Toronto where he worked for the Federal Government as a Steam Engineer until his retirement. Upon his return to Winnipeg, Louis continued to enjoy his love of life, music, his cottage, hunting and fishing with his "Dolly", Julie. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Juliette; sister Flora (George) Buss; brother George Heath of Thunder Bay, brother Ted Aguesse of Winnipeg. He is survived by four sons, numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many good friends. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 2 at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., entrance at Aubrey St. with Fr. Gary Killen officiating. A private family interment will be held at a later date at the Abbeville Cemetery. The family would like to extend special thanks to his home care worker Efrin and his VON Chris for the special care they gave Louis when he was at home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, Man., R3B 2H8, or to a charity of ones choice.
