MILDRED (nee MEDYNSKI) HRYCYK (IVANYSHYN) Suddenly passed away on February 23, 2000 at the Ste. Anne Hospital. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was predeceased by her parents; daughters, Beverley and Veronica and sister Bernice. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Mike; sons, Ray (Jacqueline) and Ken (Lorna) Ivanyshyn; grandchildren, Kevin, Douglas, Jeffery, Michael, Darren, and Dana; ten great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen and Molly and brother Edward; special nephew Patrick (Sharon) Ivanyshyn, nephews, Rudy, Afros, Gus and Albert, and nieces, Agatha and Josie. Mom was born on December 28, 1910 and lived in Hadashville all her life. Although times were tough, Mom never lost her zest for life. She enjoyed gardening, baking, cooking and entertaining family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of the Ste. Anne Hospital for her care. Prayers will be held at Loewen Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, February 29 at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 1 at 10:00 a.m. at the Reynolds Recreational Centre in Hadashville, MB. Interment will follow in the St. John the Baptiste Cemetery in Hadashville. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
