Barry was predeceased by his father, Eric in 1987. He leaves to mourn his passing, his beloved soul mate and best friend, Cindy (Betker) his mother Irene of Lac Du Bonnet; his one and only brother Dennis of Winnipeg; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and an infinite number of friends. Barry was born August 16, 1951, and was raised in Bissett Manitoba. In 1966 upon the closing of the Bissett gold mine the family moved to Lac Du Bonnet. After a few of lifes adventures, he became employed by Tanco Mining Corp. for 22 years at Bernic Lake, Manitoba. As a miner, there was nothing else he would rather have done. He was respected and admired by all his co-workers for his knowledge and experience on the job. Barrys passions in life were golfing, camping, fishing, bowling and being found next to his barbecue with a 50 in his hand and friends at his side. His unique sense of humor, never ending gift of giving and heart of gold will be sadly missed by family, friends, co-workers and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His motto for life; "Take easy, Make nice." Cremation has taken place.
